Item 4E - NarrativeNarrative We would like to request a variance to waive of the sidewalk requirement for the new construction of our house on address 174 Jellico Circle. This is an older neighborhood/street with minimum 1 acre lots and there is no sidewalk anywhere, not is there an opportunity to put them in. The most recent new construction home built on this street also had this waived - 163 Jellico Circle. The dead of Jellico states that sidewalks are not allowed. But for some reason, our property was not included in the Jellico Estates Plat and was platted separately with two other properties. The city permit department will allow for this sidewalk requirement to be waived and thus finalize this construction permit, but first we need your planning department to approve this variance request.
