INVOCATION: Lloyd Latta MAYORS REPORT: Mayor Sparger informed Council members that the information pamphlets on the Bond Election will be completed Tues- day. A meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, November 24, at 7 p.m. in which Council will meet with the Volunteer Firemen in an effort to further explain the Bond Program, so that questions can properly be answered. Latta gave a progress report on the Communications System. He explained that the system is finished except for the inter-city which will be installed in approximately 10 days. Mayor Sparger introduced Larry J. POLICE Williams to Council as his recommenda- CHIEF tion for Southlake Chief of Police. APPROVED Council members had a chance to ask questions and acquaint themselves with Williams. Council was made aware of the thorough investigation that was made on Williams in an effort to find the right person for the position. CLOSED SESSION: 1. Police Chief.
