KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That I, we, John E Orfield , for and in consideration of the sum ofTen ($10)
Dollars and other good and valuable consideration in hand paid by Grantee herein, the
receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged and confessed, have granted, and
conveyed, and by these presents do grant, and convey to the City of Southlake, Grantee
herein, of Tarrant County, Texas a permanent and perpetual easement for the purpose of
installing, repairing, maintaining, altering, replacing, relocating, a slope Easement as
described in Exhibits 'A' & 'B', into, upon, over, across and under that land in Tarrant
County, Texas described as follows, to-wit:
Being a permanent 30 foot wide slope easement, described as follows:
See attached Exhibit I A; for graphic depiction
See attached Exhibit 'B' for metes and bounds description together with
the right of ingress and egress as necessary for such purposes,
See attached Exhibit 'Briar Lane Cul-De-Sac Layout (Alternate #1)'
for subject permanent easement and special tree note,
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described slope easement together with all and
singular, the rights and appurtenances thereto, anywise belonging unto the said Grantee,
its successors and assigns forever; and I do hereby certify that I am the owner of the
property described herein and bind myself, for as long as I own the property to forever
defend all and singular the premises unto the said Grantee, its successors and assigns,
against every person whomesoever lawfully claiming or to claim same or any thereof

Being a 0.138 acre tract of land situated in the R.D. Price Survey, Abstract No. 1207, City of
Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas and being a portion of a tract of land described as Lot 7-R of
the Hilltop Acres Addition plat, an addition to the City of Southlake, Volume 388-128, Page 49
(D. R. T. C. T.) and being more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at the most southerly corner of said Lot 7-R and the northwest corner of Lot
8-R of the Hilltop Acres Addition, said point also being in the east right-of-way line of Briar
Lane;
