CALL TO ORDER Southlake Arts Council Chair Tamara McMillan called the meeting to order at 6:02p.m. 2. PUBLIC FORUM Chair McMillan opened the Public Forum at 6:02p.m. There being no one present to address the Arts Council, the Public Forum was closed at 6:02p.m. 3. CONSENT CONSENT AGENDA Consent Agenda items are considered routine by the Arts Council and are enacted with one motion. 3A. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE AUGUST 24, 2021, SOUTHLAKE ARTS COUNCIL MEETING 3B. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE SEPTEMBER 28, 2021, SOUTHLAKE ARTS COUNCIL MEETING 3C. Chair McMillan asked if there were any revisions to the minutes. No revisions were discussed. APPROVED A motion was made to accept the minutes of the August 24, 2021, meeting, September 28, 2021, meeting, and October 26, 2021, as read. Motion: Terrazas Second: Kienast Ayes: Doyle, Kienast, McMillan, Terrazas, Viktorin Nays: None Abstain: None Vote: 5-0 Motion passed. 4. CONSIDER 4A. APPROVE THE PUBLIC ART DISPLAY FACILITY AND PROPERTY USE PERMIT FOR THE 2022 CISD ART EXHIBIT Assistant to the Director Milenka Lopez presented item 4A to the Arts Council for consideration and was available to answer questions. APPROVED A motion was made to approve the Public Art Display Facility and Property use permit for the 2022 CISD Art Exhibit as presented. PATRIOTIC ART AT THE LIBRARY GARDENS Assistant to the Director Milenka Lopez presented item 5A for discussion and was available to answer questions. Direction to Staff: Staff to provide more options for the Arts Council to consider. 5B. SOUTHLAKE PRESENTS UPDATE Vice Chair Deanna Kienast presented the Southlake Presents update to the Arts Council and was available to answer questions. Direction to Staff: Begin advertising the event before the January Arts Council meeting. 5C. ARIA SOUNDBOARD UPDATE Arts Council Chair Tamara McMillan presented the item. Arts Council Member Terri Messing was unavailable to provide an update. Direction to Staff: Follow up with Terri Messing and reach out to other stakeholders. 5D. FY2022 PROJECTS UPDATE Arts Council Chair Tamara McMillan presented ideas for potential FY 2022 Projects, including having a booth at the 2022 Stars and Stripes event. Direction to Staff: None. 5E. REVISIT ARTISTS LISTS FOR EXHIBITS Arts Council Chair Tamara McMillan presented the Artists Lists for exhibits. Direction to Staff: Put together a revised list of artists for Arts Council to review. 5F. ARTS COUNCIL SOCIAL MEDIA DISCUSSION Assistant to the Director Milenka Lopez presented item 5F to the Arts Council for discussion and was available to answer questions. Direction to Staff: None.
