Dear Sandra,
This letter is in reference to a County Bond Election to be held
on April 4, 1987. It is proposed that, as a convenience to the
voter, the County Bond Election and Municipal Elections be held
jointly by resolution.
The joint resolution would include Tarrant County reimbursement to
® your City for half (1/2) of election expenses incurred as follows:
1) Election Judges and clerks (including any additional
personnel needed for the proper conduct of the election) .
2) Payment of $25 for delivery of results and supplies to
• the County Courthouse when polls close.
3) Cost of voting site (if any) .
Should any additional cost not covered in the above be necessary,
we would be glad to negotiate with you. Tarrant County would have
separate ballots, Optech scanners, and voter registration lists.
•
Time is an important factor in coordinating this election.
Therefore, we would appreciate a reply from you as soon as
possible. After hearing from you, either by phone call or letter,
our office will set a date for a meeting with the cities willing
to participate so that all questions may be addressed. We look '
forward to coordinating this election with your City.
Sincerely,
11. Robert Parten
