- Gentlemen:
' When the contractwas let to H-E-C Electrical for lighting
_ on Field 03 at the city park, there was an error in
/ alignment of the outfield light poles. The way the plans
| were drawn would have made the outfield area too short to
-
conform to the proper ballfield regulations.
In order to conform to field regulations it will be
necessary to realign and upgrade the outfield poles. The
costs for this will be approximately $6,200.00.
'
We, therefore, respectfully request that the contract to
H-E-C Electrical be extended to include this additional
amount. Thank you for your consideration.

Dear Mayor Latta:
Tarrant County Chapter
6640 Camp Bowie Blvd.
Fort Worth, Texas 76116
(817) 732-4491
March 7, 1986
Thank you for your cooperation in signing the Statement
of Understanding between the City of Southlake and the
American Red Cross.
Tarrant County has been blessed with reasonably good weather
over the past several years and hopefully it will continue so,
however I feel this agreement will insure a better under-
standing of disaster relief responsibilities of both Southlake
and the Red Cross should a disaster occur.
I have spoken with Greg Dawson and he indicated he is in the
process of completing a Disaster Plan for the City of Southlake.
Red Cross is more than willing to work with Greg and meet with
your officials at any time. -
I am a firm believer that the more times you"meet and greet' and
know one another, the better off you are when a disaster happens.
Again, thanks for your cooperation and we look.forward to meeting
and finalizing our agreement.
Sincerely,
L

Director, Disaster Service
