OWNER: JGJ, Inc.
APPLICANT: C&P Engineering Ltd
PURPOSE: The purpose of this request is to create a separate residential lot for the
existing residence on the applicant's property.
PROPERTY SITUATION: The property is located at 651 E. Highland.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Lot 1, Block A, Milner Addition
LAND USE CATEGORY: Low Density Residential
CURRENT ZONING: "AG"Agricultural District
PROPOSED ZONING: "SF-1A" Single Family Residential District and"AG"Agricultural District
HISTORY: -A preliminary plat was approved by the City Council on November 1, 1988.
-A final plat was approved by the City Council on December 20, 1988.
P&Z ACTION: April 4, 2002; Approved (7-0) subject to Plat Review Summary No. 2,
dated March 28, 2002, allowing requested variance to comment# 1 (street
frontage).
STAFF COMMENTS: Attached is Plat Review Summary No. 2, dated March 28, 2002. The
following variance needs Council action:
• Every lot shall abut on a public street or a private street. (Private
residential streets are permitted only under the conditions of Ord, 483,
Sections 5.04 and 5.05.)
