The applicant has provided Concept Plan B, as
requested, at the P&Z Commission meeting on August
19, 2021 and previously presented at the 2035
Corridor Planning Committee meeting on June 2, 2021.
Fire Marshall Review:
Option B:
1. An automatic fire sprinkler system shall be
installed in all residential structures that
exceed 6,000 square feet, excluding
porches and patios.
2. Fire apparatus access needs to be provided
within 150 feet of all exterior portions of
the perimeter of the residence if it is not
protected with an automatic fire
suppression system and within 250 feet of
all exterior portions of the structure if it is
protected with an automatic fire
suppression system.
3. Fire apparatus access needs to be an all-
weather surface, asphalt or concrete, a
minimum of 31 feet wide, back of curb to
back of curb. Surface must be capable of
supporting apparatus. (A minimum of
85,000 pounds GVW) (A vertical clearance
of 14 feet must also be provided)
