2. Approve August 29, 2021 CEC meeting minutes. Muhammad lqbal made a
motion to approve the minutes as written. Roja Kasarla provided a second.

CISD Board Member Candidate Forum Updates
• Secured courtroom and third floor training rooms for overflow
• Secured three off-duty officers for meeting
• Website— Election site is live
Time keeping question — iPad vs Council Chambers box
• Can use either device
Discussed timing to allow 'yellow' to be longer than usual because people were
not wrapping up. 'Yellow' means 10 seconds currently
• Moderator— can help manage with time keeping purposes
• Speak with CSO to see if timing can be upped by 5 or 10 seconds
Suggestion — it would be good to have a list of assignments/list of people to
contact in case of certain situations
