Starting in 1984 we submitted info to the city to build a house at our current location.
We submitted everything asked for. It was approved by the city and Building permit
was issued. At the time there was never an issue concerning road to our house.
Today, there are three other houses that use the road, The Dyers, Wilkerson's and
Walkers.
The Dyers, who's house is front of our house were given a permit to build a
"garage/work shop" They use the road to access the garage/workshop" as this is the
only way to access. We are asking for a variance so in the future, if the house is ever
sold, new owner, Either living in the existing house or decides to build a new house,
can still use the current road as is. Currently there is a water line and electric to the
house,
There was never a need for sidewalks. No one walks down the driveway. It is what we
all use to get to our homes/garage.
