2. INVOCATION: CLAYTON REED
Mr. Clayton Reed provided the invocation. Mayor John Huffman led the pledges of
allegiance to the United States and Texas Flags.
3. ATMOS REGIONAL AND LOCAL INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS
Atmos Energy representatives updated the City Council on infrastructure improvements
they are making in and around Southlake to improve the reliability and service level to
residents.
4. SOUTHLAKE SISTER CITIES INTERNATIONAL YOUTH ART CONTEST
WINNERS
Southlake Sister Cities President, Ms. Katy Hintze provided an overview of the
International Youth Art Contest and presented the contest winners.

Mayor Huffman announced the City Council would go into Executive Session pursuant to
the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, Section 551.071
consultation with city attorney and Section 551.074 deliberate regarding personnel
matters. City Council adjourned for Executive Session at 6:31 pm. Executive Session
began at 6:30pm and concluded at 7:18pm.

Mayor Huffman recognized Southlake Carroll Olympian Haley Hernandez. Her parents
and coach joined her at the podium while the Mayor and Council expressed their

City's wastewater lift stations with Premier Magnesia, LLC. in an amount not to exceed
$110,000 for a 12-month period. Noting the dollar amount for the purchase agreement is
$120,000 and not $110 as indicated in the agenda.

- Approving the revised landscape, as presented, noting that along the north and south
perimeter of the detention basin the evergreen screen alternative is preferred in lieu

and will be roughly proportional to the proposed development. Also noting that the
proposed office use, as described, is consistent with the current land use designation

primary activities and operation of the office building, as described, is consistent with
the current land use category.
- Applicant will provide a concept parking plan, without the use of a variance for 2nd
reading consideration.
