CITY COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor John Huffman and Councilmembers Kathy Talley,
Randy Robbins, Chad Patton, Ronell Smith, Amy Torres-Lepp and Randy Williamson.
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Shana Yelverton, Assistant City Manager Alison
Ortowski, Chief Financial Officer Sharen Jackson, Deputy Director of Public Relations
Pilar Schank, Police Chief James Brandon, Fire Chief Mike Starr, Director of Economic
Development and Tourism Daniel Cortez, Senior Director of Planning and Development
Services Ken Baker, Director of Public Works Rob Cohen, and City Secretary Amy
Shelley.
TIME:
1. CALL TO ORDER
Special meeting was called to order by Mayor Hill at 5:14pm.
2. ADMINISTER THE OATHS OF OFFICE FOR CITY COUNCIL PLACES 2,5 AND
MAYOR.
Judge Carol Montgomery administered the Oath of Office to Council Place 2 Randy
Robbins. Councilmember Robbins took his seat at the dais.
Judge Carol Montgomery administered the Oath of Office to Council Place 5 Amy Torres-
Lepp. Councilmember Torres-Lepp took her seat at the dais.
Judge Carol Montgomery administered the Oath of Office to Mayor John Huffman. Mayor
Huffman took his seat at the dais.
3. APPROVE RESOLUTION NO. 21-021, APPOINTING MAYOR PRO TEM AND
DEPUTY MAYOR PRO TEM.

Motion was made to approve the Item 3, appointing Councilmember Chad Patton to
Mayor Pro Tem and Councilmember Williamson to Deputy Mayor Pro Tem.

AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
