Traffic Impact Analysis
•The proposed site driveways provide the appropriate
level of access for the development.
•The intersection of Mustang Court and Southwestern
Street does not meet All-Way STOP Control traffic
volume warrants with existing or future volumes, so
the intersection should be signed as Two-Way STOP-
Control.
•There are not expected to be any queues developing
on the property. In both peak hours, the rate of
vehicles entering the property is less than one per
minute, and the rate of vehicles exiting the property is
likewise less than one per minute.
•The proposed new driveway intersection
should be moved north to create
additional separation between
intersections.
•At a minimum, the south drive should be
relocated as shown in Figure 1.
•4-Way Stop control is recommended for
the intersection of Mustang Court and
Southwestern Street.
•A secondary public road access should
be included for a development of this
size.
