SPECIALTY SIGNS 1) The following sign types shall be allowed without a permit as long as set standards are met h. MATERIALS – Materials and finishes shall be a of a high-quality, unique and achieve harmony with others within the Downtown District. Ac ceptable materials for signing, wayfinding and related structures include: a. Metals: b. Composites. c. Hardwoods. Hardwoods must have a natural or clear, quality painted or lacquered finish. d. Stone: Granite, marble limestone and slate. e. Tile: Ceramic and porcelain. f. Terrazzo, mosaics and colored stained concrete. g. Glass: Textured, art, colored, frosted and patterned. h. Acrylic: translucent, clear, colored and opaque. i. High Performance Adhesive Film. j. Gold Leaf or Professionally Painted Graphics. k.
