RESOLUTION NO. 10-020 OFFICIAL RECORD
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE,
TEXAS, CANVASSING THE GENERAL ELECTION HELD ON MAY 8,2010;
DECLARING THE RESULTS OF GENERAL ELECTION; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, there was a General Election held in the City of Southlake, Texas, on May
8, 2010, for the purpose of electing City Councilmembers, Place 3, Place 4, and Place 5; and,
WHEREAS, there were a total of 1,914 ballots cast in Tarrant County and Denton
County as shown on the official election results heretofore lawfully submitted to the City
Council of the City of Southlake, Texas, and filed with the City Secretary of said City; and,
WHEREAS, only duly qualified resident electors of said City voted in said election, and
said election was called and held in strict conformity with the laws of the State of Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the results of said election were duly canvassed by the City Council of the
City of Southlake, Texas, on Mav 18, 2010 and showed the following results:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. The above canvass is and the same is hereby in all things approved.
Section. 2. Attached to this resolution are the official cumulative reports from Tarrant
County and Denton County.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 18th DAY OF MAY 2010.
