RESOLUTION NO. 03-027
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, CANVASSING THE GENERAL
ELECTION HELD ON MAY 3, 2003; AND DECLARING
THE RESULTS FOR MAYOR AND COUNCILMEMBER
PLACE 2.
WHEREAS, there was held in the City of Southlake, Texas, on May 3, 2003, a General
Election for the positions of Mayor and Councilmember Place 2; and,
WHEREAS, there were cast at said election 2,811 (1,113 were Early Votes and 1,698
were on Election Day) votes as shown on the official election results heretofore lawfully
submitted to the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas, and filed with the City Secretary
of said City; and,
WHEREAS, only duly qualified resident electors of said City voted in said election, and
said election was called and held in strict conformity with the laws of the State of Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the results of said election were duly canvassed by the City Council of the
City of Southlake, Texas, on May 6, 2003; and showed the following results:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. Andv Wambsganss is hereby declared to have been elected to the Office of
Mayor, for a term to expire in May 2006. Keith Shankland is hereby declared to
have been elected to the Office of Councilmember Place 2, for a term to expire in
May 2006.
Section 2. The above canvass is, and the same is hereby in all things approved.
