RESOLUTION NO. 98-38
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS
APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE YOUTH PARKS AND
RECREATION BOARD; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it advisable and necessary to establish a Youth
Parks and Recreation Board for the City of Southlake, to act as an advisory board to the Parks
and Recreation Board relating to recreation programs and park improvements; and,
WHEREAS, the Youth Parks and Recreation Board was established under Ordinance
No. 646 for students of the City of Southlake who are enrolled in school in grades seven through
twelve; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council shall make the appointments for two (2) year terms; and,
WHEREAS, currently, the terms of Matt Berg, Matt Bickford and James Frick have
expired; now,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. All of the premises are found to be true and correct and are incorporated into the body
of this resolution as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. The City Council hereby appoints the following students to serve on the Youth Parks
and Recreation Board, for two year terms:
1. Matt Bera
2. Jonathan Edmondson
3. Anna Williams
Section 4. This resolution is effective upon passage by the City Council.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 19TH DAY OF MAY, 1998.
