RESOLUTION NO. 98-37
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE
SOUTHLAKE PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, a Parks and Recreation Board was created for the purpose of planning and
developing parks and park sites within the City of Southlake for the use and benefit of its
citizens; and,
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Board shall consist of nine (9) members, to serve
three (3) year terms; and,
WHEREAS, currently there are three (3) vacant positions, previously held by Carol Lee
Hamilton, Robin Jones, and Sherry Berman.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. The above premises are found to be true and correct and are incorporated into the
body of this Resolution as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. The terms of Carol Lee Hamilton, Robin Jones, and Sherry Berman are vacant.
Section 3. The City Council hereby appoints the following persons to the Parks and Recreation
Board for the terms as shown:
1. Robin Jones three year term
2. Sherry Berman three year term
3. James Glover three year term
Section 4. This resolution shall become effective after its passage and approval by the City
Council.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 19TH DAY OF MAY, 1998.
