RESOLUTION NO. 9451
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, APPOINTING A MEMBER OF THE
SOUTHLAKE PARK DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION TO
FILL AN UNEXPIRED TERM; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority granted by the Development Corporation Act of
1979, Article 5190.6, Texas Revised Civil Statutes, as amended (the "Act"), the City Council
found it advisable to authorize the creation of a non-profit corporation to be named the Southlake
Park Development Corporation, to act on its behalf in financing, under the Act, eligible
projects" deemed to be for the benefit of the public; and,
WHEREAS, as allowed for in the Articles of Incorporation of the Southlake Park
Development Corporation, approved by the City Council on the 3rd day of January, 1994, a
Board of Directors shall be appointed by the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors shall be composed of seven persons. Three (3) of
the directors shall be appointed to one year terms and four persons shall be appointed for two
year terms; and,
WHEREAS, four of the members shall be members of the City Council and the three
remaining directors must not be employees or officers of the City, or members of the City
Council, and at least one of the three remaining directors must be a member of the Southlake
Park and Recreation Board; now,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. All of the findings in the preamble are found to be true and correct and the City
Council hereby incorporates said findings into the body of this resolution as if copied in their
entirety.
Section 2. The City Council hereby appoints the following person to fill the unexpired term of
Larry Goldstein which will expire on May 31, 1995.

Section 3. This resolution shall become effective after its passage and adoption by the City
Council.
