1994-049City of Southlake, Texas RESOLUTION NO. 94-49 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING KEEP SOUTHLAKE BEAUTIFUL TO DEVELOP A WILDLIFE HABITAT DEMONSTRATION SITE AT BICENTENNIAL PARK; PROJECT TO REMAIN IN PLACE FOR THREE YEARS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Southlake owns the property known as Bicentennial Park; and, WHEREAS, Keep Southlake Beautiful desires to enter into a grant agreement with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to develop a wildlife habitat demonstration site in Bicentennial Park; and, WHEREAS, the terms of the grant agreement require that the proposed project remain in place for at least three years from August 30, 1995; now, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT: Section 1. All of the above premises are found to be true and correct and are incorporated into the body of this resolution as if copied in its entirety. Section 2. By passage of this resolution, the City Council does hereby authorize Keep Southlake Beautiful to develop a wildlife habitat demonstration project in Bicentennial Park at the location described in the grant proposal submitted to Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Section 3. By passage of this resolution, the City Council does hereby agree that the wildlife habitat demonstration site will be maintained by City Parks and Recreation Department personnel and volunteers of Keep Southlake Beautiful for the three year period beginning August 30, 1995. Section 4. This resolution shall become effective on the day of approval by the City Council. PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 25TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1994.
