A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, GRANTING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT
FOR THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON A TRACT
OF LAND WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS,
BEING LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS 161.53 ACRES SITUATED
IN THE HALL MEDLIN SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 1037,
HOLLINGSWORTH AND BARNETT SURVEY, ABSTRACT
NO. 797, J.N. GIBSON SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 591, M.
DAVENPORT SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 432. , AND MORE
COMMONLY KNOWN AS TIMARRON GOLF COURSE AND
CLUBHOUSE, AND COMPLETELY DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT
A"; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, a Specific Use Permit for the Sale of Alcoholic Beverages has been
requested by a person or corporation having a proprietary interest in the property zoned "R-
P.U.D." and,
WHEREAS, in accordance with the requirements of Section 45.1 (1) and 45.6 of the
City's Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City
Council have given the requisite notices by publication and otherwise, and have afforded a full
and fair hearing to all property owners generally and to the persons interested and situated in
the affected area and in the vicinity thereof; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council does hereby find and determine that the granting of such
specific use permit is in the best interest of the public health, safety, morals, and general welfare
of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1
A Specific Use Permit is hereby granted for the sale of mixed drinks, beer and wine by
the glass in the clubhouse and the sale of beer and wine by the glass on the traveling carts on
property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, subject to the provisions contained in the
comprehensive zoning ordinance and the restrictions set forth herein.
1. Subject to the Plan Review Summary dated March 31, 1994
deleting item #3, bufferyard requirements.

SECTION 2
This resolution shall become effective on the date of approval of the City Council.
