RESOLUTION NO. 88-89
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE,
TEXAS, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN INTERLOCAL
AGREEMENT FOR AMBULANCE SERVICE BETWEEN
THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE AND THE CITY OF
COLLEYVILLE. DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby approves. an
Interlocal Agreement for Ambulance Service between
the City of Southlake, and the City of Colleyville,
effective immediately and to be in effect for a period
not to exceed thirty (30) days, in the form attached
hereto as Exhibit "A" and authorizes and directs the
City Manager to execute and deliver such agreement
to the City Manager of the City of Colleyville.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage. /

AMBULANCE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City -of Southlake and the City of Colleyville do
hereby -agree to enter into an agreement for the City of Southlake
to provide the City of Colleyville ambulance service on an interim
basis.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereto, the City of Southlake and
the City of Colleyville, do hereby agree as follows:
Section 1. The City of Southlake does hereby agree to
provide ambulance service for the City of Colleyville.
Section 2. The term of this agreement is for 30 days or
less.
Section 3. The City of Southlake agrees to provide an
ambulance and a driver to respond to any call that is required at a
fee of $150.00 per call. All fees will be paid by the City of
Colleyville upon receipt of invoices from the City of Southlake.
The City of Southlake further agrees to furnish all supplies that
are carried on the Southlake ambulance at no additional charge to
the City of Colleyville.
Section 4. The City of Colleyville agrees to hold the City
of Southlake harmless in the event that the Southlake ambulance is
unavailable to respond to the City of Colleyville's call.
Section 5. The City of Colleyville agrees to have a police
unit meet the Southlake ambulance at the Southlake/Colleyville city
limits and escort the ambulance to the scene of the call.
Section 6. -The City of Colleyville further agrees to
furnish the needed paramedics, at the scene of the call, to man the
ambulance except for the driver.
