1988-014I CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS RESOLUTION NO. 88-14 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING A PRIORITY LIST OF STREET IMPROVEMENTS TO BE MADE WITHIN THE CITY IN COOPERATION WITH TARRANT COUNTY; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO DELIVER SUCH PRIORITY LIST TO TARRANT COUNTY COMMISSIONER PRECINCT NO. 3 AND TO NEGOTIATE NECESSARY MODIFICATIONS OF SUCH PRIORITIES; DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas (the "City"), to establish a priority list of street repairs to be made within the City in cooperation with the Commissioners Court of Tarrant County, Texas (the "County"; and WHEREAS, it is further the intention of the City Council to authorize and direct the City Manager to deliver such priority list to the Commissioner of Tarrant County Precinct No. 3, and to negotiate any necessary modification of such priorities with the County. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE: Section 1. That all of the above premises are found to be true and correct and are incorporated into the body of this resolution as if copied in their entirety. Section 2. That the City Council hereby establishes the following as its listing of priorities for street improvements to be made within the City in cooperation with the County: 1. Highland Street (North Carroll Avenue to North Kimball Road) ; 2. Brumlow Avenue (State Highway 26 to Continental Boulevard) ; 3. Continental Boulevard (South Carroll Avenue to Kimball Avenue); 4. South Carroll Avenue (Farm -to -Market Road 1709 to Continental Boulevard); 5. North Carroll Avenue (State Highway 114 to Farm -to -Market Road 1709); and 6. South Kimball Avenue (Crooked Lane Boulevard to Southlake Boulevard). Section 3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to deliver the above priority list of the Commissioner of Tarrant County Precinct No. 3 and to negotiate any necessary modification of such priorities with the County. Section 4.
