1982-002 (2)RESOLUTION 82-2 A Resolutuon of the City of Southlake, Texas, suspending the operation of proposed rate schedules filed by Texas Power and Light Company for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days beyond the date on which such schedules would otherwise go into effect. 1 WHEREAS, Texas Power and Light Company ("TP&L") did, on February 12,1982 file a schedule of rates for service within the City of Southlake to become effective March 19,1982; AND, WHEREAS, after having considered the presentative of TP&L, it is the opinion of the City Council of the City of Southlake that such schedule of rates should be suspended for a period of 120 days from March 19,1982 for further study, investigation, presentation of evidence and public hearing; and WHEREAS, a copy of this resolution has been provided TP&L. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS: Pursuant to Section 43(d) of the Public Utility Regulatory Act, the operation of TP&L proposed rate schedules filed with the City of Southlake on February 12,1982, is hereby sus- pended for a period of 120 days from March 19,1982, for further study, investigation, presentation of evidence and public hearing.
