1981-024RESOLUTION 81-24
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of
Southlake, Texas, deems it to be in the
best interest of its citizens to have
orderly zoning and development consis-
tant with the desires and the welfare of
the majority; AND,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of
Southlake desires to permit the receipt
of input and advice from its citizens,
AND,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to
coordinate the information from the
citizens through a liaison officer or
officers; AND,
WHEREAS, such appointments will be made
by the Mayor by authority of the Personnel
Rules and Regulations, NOW,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE,
TEXAS, THAT:
1.
A Citizens Advisory Committee be and is hereby recreated for the
purpose, -,and with the role, indicated in the attached charter
marked "Exhitit A".

All members of the Citizens Advisory Committee be appointed for a
term of one (1) year from this date and a current .roster of appointees
be kept in the office of the City Secretary with the members having
met the following qualifications.
a. All appointed members must currently reside and must
have resided within the city limits of Southlake for
a period of not less than 1 year.
b. All appointed members must currently be registered
to vote in the City elections of the City of Southlake.
C. All appointed members who are appointed as charter
members of this committee upon the date of this resolution
must not be currently serving on any other committees
or commissions ordained by the City of Southlake.
