1981-018 ResolutionRESOLUTION 81-18
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City
of Southlake, Texas, deems it to be in
the best interest of the Citizens of
Southlake, to have taxes,
AND,
WHEREAS, the State of Texas has created
a Single Appraisal Tax Authority
to better serve its Citizens,
AND,
WHEREAS, the Property Tax Code of the
State of Texas, Section 26.02 States that
all property shall be assessed on the
basis of 1000 (one hundred per cent)
of its appraised value.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
The City of Southlake, City Council, hereby agrees to assess
all its property based on 1000 (one hundred per cent)
of its appraised value.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 2nd day of June, 1981.
