1981-009 ResolutionRESOLUTION 81-9
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the best interest
of the Citizens of the City of Southlake, Texas,
that there be a Mayor Pro Tempore to serve in
the absence of'the Mayor; AND,
WHEREAS, the office of Mayor Pro Tempore is
currently.vacant; AND,
WHEREAS, the term of such office will be for
one (1) year in accordance with Article 992
of Vernon's Civil Statutes; NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
LLOYD 0. LATTA, COUNCILPERSON, PLACE 2, be and he
is hereby appointed to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore
for a term of one (1) year from this date to the
third Tuesday of April, 1982.
