SOUTHLAKE YOUTH ACTION COMMISSION MEETING: MONDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2020
LOCATION: VIA VIRTUAL MEETING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with order of the Office of the Governor issued March 16, 2020,
the City Council of the City of Southlake will conduct this meeting virtually in order to advance the public
health goal of limiting face-to-face meetings (also called "social distancing") to slow the spread of the
Coronavirus (COVID-19).
This Notice and Meeting Agenda, and the Agenda Packet, are posted online at
https://www.cilyofsouthlake.com/AgendaCenter
The public will be permitted to offer public comments as provided by the agenda and as permitted by the
presiding officer during the meeting via this link https:Hbit.ly/SYACDec202O hosted through Webex.
A recording of this meeting will be made and will be available to the public in accordance with the Open

Lenguyen, Katy Lin, Anish Velala, Sophia Ahmed, Alex Zito, Carolynn Brower, Samad Rizvi,
Emily Jia, Nicole Beres, Surina Kishinchandani, and Eesha Bethi
AGENDA:
Call to Order — Meeting was called to order at 4:18PM
2. Consent
A. Approve the minutes from the November 16, 2020- Motion to approve the
minutes with two corrections was made by Katy Lin and seconded by Aaron
Ahmed. Motion carried (13-0)
3. Consider
A. Recommendation of Service Projects- The Board discussed. Motion to
approve group participation in monthly serve projects was made by Katy Lin
and seconded by Eesha Bethi. Motion carried (13-0)
B. Recommendation on Intern Day- The Board discussed. Motion to approve an
intern day was made by Katy Lin and seconded by Eesha Bethi. Motion
carried (13-0)
4. Discussion
A. Guest Speaker — Jessica McBride, Communication and Marketing Manager -
Office of Marketing and Communication presented an overview of her role and
job duties within the City
5. Adjournment — meeting was adjourned at 5:11 PM
