FORUM SUMMARY: Property Situation: The property is located at the southeast corner of the intersection of N. Carroll Avenue and E. Dove Road. Development Details: The purpose of this request is to seek approval of a zoning change and concept plan for the development of 4 single family residential lots of approximately 4.5 acres. No new streets proposed. Two lots will front on Dove Road and two lots will front on Carroll Avenue. Sewer and Water utilities are pre-existing and available for connection. Exhibit Presented Questions and Concerns: • Positive comments were made regarding the changes to the concept plan from what was shown at P&Z. There was concern about dust and noise and the resident requested the fence to be constructed as soon as possible in order to avoid as much nuisance as possible. o Applicant stated they will work with City staff to get the fence up as soon as possible. Discussed Torrian Place fencing as one that is similar to what is proposed. • Resident stated they would like to connect to sewer. o Recommended she call City staff in working to get a connection. • Asked about the meeting schedule. o May 19th is the City Council 1st reading; second reading follows. • Resident stated he was looking at the lots (to purchase one); they are beautiful. Talked about the P&Z wanting to move the fence line. Would like to see the fence line as close to the sidewalk as possible, which would match what is currently existing in that area. Intends to plant nice screening… would like to keep as much of a front yard as possible.
