NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with order of the Office of the Governor issued March 16,
2020, the City Council of the City of Southlake will conduct this meeting virtually in order to advance
the public health goal of limiting face-to-face meetings (also called "social distancing") to slow the
spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
This Notice and Meeting Agenda, and the Agenda Packet, are posted online at
https://www.citvofsouthlake.com/AgendaCenter
The public will be permitted to offer public comments as provided by the agenda and as permitted by
the presiding officer during the meeting via this link https:Hbit.ly/ArtsCouncilNovl7 hosted through
Webex.
A recording of this meeting will be made and will be available to the public in accordance with the
Open Meetings Act.

1. CALL TO ORDER
Southlake Arts Council Secretary Beatriz Terrazas called the meeting to order at
6:03 p.m.
2. PUBLIC FORUM
Secretary Beatriz Terrazas opened the Public Forum at 6:04 p.m. There being no
one present to address the Arts Council, the Public Forum was closed at 6:04 p.m.

3A. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE OCTOBER 27, 2020 SOUTHLAKE
ARTS COUNCIL MEETING
APPROVED
A motion was made to approve the minutes of the October 27, 2020 Southlake
Arts Council meeting with no corrections.

4A. ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Community Relations Manager Vicky Schiber presented item 4A. The Arts Council
briefly discussed the election of officers. Current officers are: Vacant, Chair; Jesika
Cook, Vice Chair; and Beatriz Terrazas, Secretary.
APPROVED
A motion was made to elect Tamara McMillan as Chair, Jesika Cook as Vice Chair,
and Beatriz Terrazas as Secretary.

4B. HISTORICAL SOCIETY SUMMER ART EXHIBIT APPLICATION
Community Relations Manager Vicky Schiber presented item 4B. The Arts Council
briefly discussed the Historical Society Summer Art Exhibit application.

A motion was made to approve the Historical Society Summer Art Exhibit
application as presented.

5B. PARK VILLAGE ART UPDATE
Community Relations Manager Vicky Schiber presented the Park Village Art item
for discussion and was available to answer questions.
5C. SPRING ART EXHIBIT
Community Relations Manager Vicky Schiber presented the Spring Art Exhibit for
discussion and was available to answer questions.
5D. DECEMBER MEETING UPDATE
Community Relations Manager Vicky Schiber presented the December Arts
meeting for discussion. The board discussed and was in favor of canceling the
December Arts meeting.
5E. APEX REPORT
APEX Arts League Chair Terri Messing presented an APEX performance update
and informed the Arts Council that the Fort Worth Symphony concert will be held
December 17, 2020.
