FORUM SUMMARY: Property Situation: The property is located at 1501 W. Southlake Blvd. Development Details: Carroll ISD is requesting a variance to the Lighting Ordinance No. 693, as amended, to replace the existing tennis court lights at the Carroll Senior High School. The current lighting conditions are the original light for the 8-court facility and do not meet the UIL required light levels. The current light poles are in the tennis court areas and propose safety hazards for the players. The proposed LED light fixtures will provide an average of 50-foot candles and will be placed on a 9-pole layout with 50 ft. poles outside the playing surface. This will allow better control of the lighting on the court with new technology (less light spillage) and provide better lighting with energy savings. Presentation: Questions and Concerns: There were no questions for this presentation. SPIN Meeting Reports are general observations of SPIN Meetings by City staff and SPIN Representatives.
