To Whom it May Concern:
We are writing this letter to clarify our reasoning for variance request to the allowable letter heights
permitted by Southlake Signage. The hotel is requesting letters to be 60”, for both sign A and B, in
height due to the site conditions that prevent us from having a straight on elevation facing 114 and the
speed in which guests will be passing the site. The hotel is set further back from 114 and 2’-0” letters
will not be visible from 114. Additionally, Marriott Logo Standards require the “D” portion of the logo to
be larger than the “delta hotels” lettering; we are trying to also follow these guidelines for the hotel.
