Virtual meeting was called to order by Mayor Laura Hill at 5:30pm.

Mr. Reed provided the invocation via video. Mayor Laura Hill led the pledges of allegiance
to the United States and Texas Flags.

Mayor Hill reviewed the items on tonight's consent agenda.

Mayor Hill spoke about the task force she established relative to Southlake's economic
recovery. Included in the efforts of the task force are to inspire citizens to have confidence

in local businesses. She explained City Manager Shana Yelverton has a team looking at
strategies for the entire community.

Motion was made to approve the Consent Agenda Items 4A-4C as written, including
moving Regular Agenda Items 8A — 8C to Consent for approval, noting the following for
each:
8A. SV20-0003, Sign Variance to Sign Ordinance No. 704, as amended, for Banyan
Court Capital, located at 151 Players Circle, subject to the staff report dated April
14, 2020; allowing an upper story non -illuminated sign on the west elevation with
2" depth white-faced channel letters (main sign) and 2" flat cut acrylic letters for
tag line and allowing the logo to be white, green and grey 2" channel letter as
presented in the staff report.
Noting the following: accepting the Sign Board recommendation that the upper
story sign as proposed is permitted but requiring a variance for any other additional
attached signs on the building.
8B. SV20-0004, Sign Variance to Sign Ordinance No. 704, as amended, for Stony
Brook, located at 102 Stony Brook Way, subject to the staff report dated April 14,
2020; allowing the sign to stay until September 30, 2020; and, Subdivision Entry
Sign — allowed as presented.
8C. MSP19-0003, Amendment to the Master Sign Plan for Methodist Southlake
Hospital located at 401-451 E. SH 114, subject to the staff report dated April 14,

2020; allowing the signs permitted as stated in the staff report and noting the
following: the sign package request remains the same as approved by the Sign
Board with the exception for the removal of the previously requested monument
sign (originally identified as Location 18); three of the four single sided directional
signs (leaving only the addition identified as Location 13); and the emergency room
signs previously proposed for the awning (Location 21). All other previously
approved signage for the hospital, as well as the medical office building, shall
remain.
