NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with order of the Office of the Governor issued March 16,
2020, the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the City of Southlake will conduct this meeting virtually in
order to advance the public health goal of limiting face-to-face meetings (also called "social
distancing") to slow the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
This Notice and Meeting Agenda, and the Agenda Packet, are posted online at
https://www.cityofsouthlake.com/AgendaCenter
The public will be permitted to offer public comments as provided by the agenda and as permitted by
the presiding officer during the meeting via this link https://bit.ly/430SLKZBA, hosted through Webex.
A recording of this meeting will be made and will be available to the public in accordance with the Open
Meetings Act.
REGULAR SESSION: 6:30 P.M.
1. Call to Order.
2. Executive Session: If a need arises to seek the advice from the City Attorney as to the posted
subject matter of this Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting, the issues or matters will be discussed
in executive session.
a. Pursuant to Section 551.071, Texas Government Code, the Board may meet in executive
session to consult with the City Attorney regarding matters authorized by Section
551.071, including matters posted on this agenda.
b. Reconvene: Action necessary on items discussed in executive session.
3. Consider: Approval of the minutes of the February 27, 2020 Zoning Board of Adjustment
meeting.
4. Consider: Administrative Comments.
5. Consider: ZBA20-0002, Variance to Zoning Ordinance No. 480, as amended, Section
34.2.e requiring accessory buildings to not exceed one story or 14' in height and Special
Exception Use per Zoning Ordinance No. 480, as amended, Section 44.12(2) for the
construction of accessory buildings or structures of a size or aggregate size greater than
permitted on property described as Lot 13, Block 2, Coventry Manor Phase I, an addition to the
City of Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas, and located at 924 Turnberry Ln., Southlake, Texas.
Current Zoning: "R-PUD" Residential Planned Unit Development District. The applicant has
formally requested to withdraw this item.
6. Consider: ZBA20-0003, Variance to Zoning Ordinance No. 480, as amended, Section
11.5.b requiring a front yard of not less than 40' and Section 11.5.c requiring a side yard
of not less than 20' on property described as Lot 16, Block 2, Trail Creek, First Phase, an
addition to the City of Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas, and located at 1450 Post Oak Trail,
Southlake, Texas. Current Zoning: "SF-1K Single Family Residential District. The applicant
has formally requested to withdraw this item.

7. Consider: ZBA20-0004, Special Exception Use per Ord. No. 480, as amended, Section
44.12(1) for a domestic employee or family quarters on property described as Lot 6, Block 2,
Hillwood Estates, an addition to the City of Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas, and located at
1611 Pheasant Ln., Southlake, Texas. Current Zoning: "SF-1A" Single Family Residential
District. PUBLIC HEARING
8. Consider: ZBA20-0005, Special Exception Use per Ord. No. 480, as amended, Sections
44.12(2) for accessory buildings or structures of a size or aggregate size greater than that
permitted and 44.12(6) for a reduction in the required setback from property lines for a
residential accessory building, on property described as Lot 10, Block B, Quail Creek Estates,
an addition to the City of Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas, and located at 2601 S. Quail Run
Ct., Southlake, Texas. Current Zoning: "SF-1A" Single Family Residential District. PUBLIC
