FORUM SUMMARY: Property Situation: • Located at the southwest corner of Central Ave. and Main St. in Southlake Town Square Development Details: • Site Plan application has been filed with the City of Southlake for the development of a retail building that will be located in Southlake Town Square at the corner of Main St. and Central Ave. • Project consists of a single-story, single-tenant, 4,000 square foot building with an entrance onto Main St. with a landscaped area between the building and Central Ave. • Building will face north toward what will be the new Moxie’s restaurant. • Presented to the Corridor Planning Committee in September and held an open house for the neighbors in November. Exhibits presented at SPIN: QUESTIONS / CONCERNS: • Do you know if parking fills up? People do not want to park in the garages as much. o Updated traffic and parking study as part of this submittal. There is a large surplus of parking. This building will displace some parking, something like eight (8) stalls were lost. Surplus of parking is somewhere in the 100’s. Even within this block that includes this and the Trader Joe’s there is a surplus of parking even at peak time.
