Yelverton, City Manager FROM: Michael Starr, Fire Chief SUBJECT: Resolution No. 20-001, Tarrant County Hazard Mitigation Action Plan Action Requested: Approval of Resolution No. 20-001, Tarrant County Hazard Mitigation Action Plan. Background Information: I am writing to seek approval of Resolution No. 20-001, Tarrant County Hazard Mitigation Action Plan. The Hazard Mitigation Action Plan (HazMAP) has been reviewed by the Texas Division of Emergency Management, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and has been formally approved by FEMA pending adoption by the City of Southlake. Financial Considerations: None Financial Impact: Loss of federal mitigation funding. Strategic Link: This item is linked to the City's Strategy Map related to the focus area of Safety and Security and meets the corporate objectives to achieve the highest standards of safety and security. Citizen Input/ Board Review: Multiple web -based surveys to encourage community feedback.
