FORUM SUMMARY:
Property Situation:
The property is located at 1250 W. Southlake Boulevard; east and adjacent to Southridge Lakes
subdivision.
Development Details:
The applicant is proposing to build an approximately 1,355 square foot warehouse that attaches
to an existing building for the existing corporate office property owner, Greystone Data
Technology.
The following slides were presented and discussed:
Questions and Concerns:
• This is not an area for a warehouse.
o It’s more of a storage building.
• This is not the place for it…we are concerned about growth.
o We agree – this business is 20+ years old. We are not going to occupy the
whole building. It’s a headquarters. We need A/C and a smaller footprint.
There is no manufacturing at this site, and this is not a shipment hub.
• We are concerned about loading “noise.”
o I will be using a cart… there will be no “beeping” machinery moving items
in and out.
