The park is located along the north side of Southlake Boulevard (FM 1709) between Shady Oaks Drive and White Chapel Boulevard in the City of Southlake, Texas. The property is approximately ±80 acres of existing park that contains ten (10) lighted baseball fields for various age levels, a Miracle Field, the Marq Southlake (containing Legends Hall & Champions Club), an amphitheater, the Bicentennial Park Playground, the Southlake Tennis Center (containing nineteen (17) outdoor tennis courts, two (2) indoor tennis courts & a Pro Shop/Club House), two (2) independent tennis courts, eight (8) batting cages, three (3) basketball courts, an in-line hockey rink, a maintenance building and yard, multiple concession/restroom buildings, a log cabin, Liberty Gardens, two (2) retention/detention ponds, looping hike & bike trail, roadway and parking. The property is currently zoned “CS” (Community Services), and it has not been officially platted to date. On May 12, 2017 the City entered into an agreement with Schrickel Rollins | PSC to plat the Bicentennial Park property. The plat is currently being prepared for final review prior to filing. The Site Plan Application includes the following proposed improvements to Bicentennial Park: 1. Revisions to the area surrounding the Water Tower in the northeast corner of the Park including the following: concrete driveway from White Chapel Blvd., 8ft. concrete screening fence (match the fencing installed during Phases I & II) that will enclose the water tower and park maintenance yards, retaining wall, security lighting, a shade structure for park maintenance equipment and a pre-fabricated storage building. Currently, we do not expect to request any variances with the Site Plan Application.
