2011/2012 Original Solar Installation - 11.5KW 36 solar panels
In 2011/2012, Corliss and Lorenzo Littles were interested in adding solar panels
to their new home in Southlake because they wanted to do something positive to
offset the effects of Climate Change by switching to clean zero emissions solar
energy.
Our company SWG Energy Inc installed the 11.5KW solar energy system to
produce 16,000 kWhs (kilowatt hours) of electricity annually to power their home.
They also wanted to use solar to lower the monthly utility bills in their new home
that did not have much electric usage history as the home was newly
constructed.
2019 Reason For The Solar Expansion - 11.5KW 36 more solar panels
Recently the Littles noticed that their utility bills were high and they decided to
expand the size of the solar energy system to produce more of their own clean
solar energy. It just happened that they had enough roof space, on the same
roofs, to expand by adding another 36 solar panels or 11.5KW more solar energy
to produce 16,000 kilowatt hours more annually.
Awareness of Climate Change in 2019
Now 7 years after the original solar installation, the awareness of Climate
Change and the way it is impacting climate raises serious concerns and is
scientifically documented. Federal, State and Local governments now have
Sustainability Plans to achieve major carbon footprint reduction goals by 2020,
2030 and beyond. Today more than ever, everyone knows how important it is to
Go Green to offset Climate Change and the Littles family members once again
want to do their part!
