Subject: August 8, 2019 CIAC meeting
The City Council appointed the Planning and Zoning Commission the duties of the
Capital Improvement Advisory Committee (CIAC) as it pertains to the responsibilities of
Chapter 395 of the Local Government Code (Impact Fees).
One of the responsibilities of the CIAC is a “…report with respect to the progress of the
capital improvements plan and report to the political subdivision (City Council) any
perceived inequities in implementing the plan or imposing the impact fee.”
Attached you will find the Capital Improvements Plan Status Report. The City’s Chief
Financial Officer Sharen Jackson will present the Capital Improvements Plan Status
Report to the CIAC at 5:30 PM in the Executive Conference Room.
If the CIAC agrees that there are no perceived inequities in implementing the plan or
imposing an impact fee the following will be provided to City Council:

This Capital Improvements Plan Status Report is hereby submitted to the Southlake
City Council by the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee on this the 8th day of
August, 2019. We find no perceived inequities in implementing the plan or imposing the
impact fee.
