ADJOURNMENT REGULAR SESSION: 1. CALL TO ORDER Chairman Kubiak called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M. 2. EXECUTIVE SESSION No Executive Session held. 3. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES A motion was made to approve the minutes from the Planning and Zoning meeting held on May 9, 2019. ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS: No administrative comments. Chairman Kubiak announced that Item 6 on the agenda has been requested to table until the August 8, 2019, Planning and Zoning meeting. CONSIDER: RESOLUTION NO. 19-014, (ZA19-0018), SPECIFIC USE PERMIT FOR A RESIDENTIAL SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEM ON PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS LOT 4, BLOCK 1, CONTINENTAL PARK ESTATES, AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS AND LOCATED AT 1208 SCENIC DRIVE, SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS. CURRENT ZONING: “SF-20B” SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT. SPIN NEIGHBORHOOD #10. PUBLIC HEARING Jerod Potts came forward to present Item 5. Staff opened for questions. No questions were asked. Applicant did not come forward when called; Item 5 was put on hold until the applicant was present. Applicant, Alexander Hildago with Elevation Solar, 2168 East Williams Field Road, Suite 210, Gilbert, Arizona, came forward to answer any questions. Chairman Kubiak opened the public hearing. No one came forward to speak. Chairman Kubiak closed the public hearing. A motion was made to approve Item 5, subject to the Staff Report dated May 17, 2019 and the Specific Use Permit Review Summary No. 2 dated May 17, 2019 with the exception that 100% of the solar panels are located on the west side of the roof. SOUTHLAKE BOULEVARD, E. SH 114 AND N. CARROLL AVENUE, SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS. CURRENT ZONING: “DT” DOWNTOWN DISTRICT. SPIN NEIGHBORHOOD #8. PUBLIC HEARING Richard Shell came forward to present Item 7. CONSIDER: ORDINANCE NO. 480-ZZZZ AN AMENDMENT TO THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE THE ZONING ORDINANCE, NO. 480, AS AMENDED, TO PROVIDE FLEXIBILITY FOR RESIDENTIAL ACCESSORY BUILDINGS AND FAMILY QUARTERS. (Discussion included better defining the term “attached accessory building/dwelling unit” requiring it to be architecturally integral and seamless with the principal building and adding prohibitive language regarding use of hallways extensions for the purpose of connecting the buildings.)
