All items listed below are considered to be routine by the Metroport Teen Court Advisory Board and will be enacted with
one motion. There will be no separate discussion of items unless a Board member or citizen so requests, in which event
the item will be removed from the general order of business and considered in its normal sequence.

In Attendance: Dana Falk (Teen Court Clerk), Jodi Bolton (Southlake Court Supervisor), Devika Seth (Southlake
Board Appointee), Chris Henz (Keller Board Appointee), Crystal Shafer (Keller Board Appointee), Marjorie Lewis
(Grapevine Board Appointee), Kara Clubb (Southlake Board Appointee), Councilmember Tammy Nakamura
(Colleyville), Aaryn Lamb (Grapevine), Carolin Namy (Colleyville), and Councilmember Ed Speakmon (Keller).
Absent: Sayeda Syed (Colleyville Board Appointee), Councilmember Shahid Shafi (Southlake), Councilmember
Darlene Freed (Grapevine)
REGULAR SESSION:
1. Call to order at 5:50 p.m. by Kara Clubb
REPORTS:
2. Administrative Comments (Staff):
A presentation was given by Dana Falk regarding referral information, types and numbers of violations, failures to
complete.
CONSENT AGENDA:
3. Approval of Minutes from September 10, 2018
Motion to approve the minutes was made by Marjorie Lewis, Second by Chris Henz. Unanimous approval by remaining
board members.
REGULAR AGENDA:
4. Action: Appoint Teen court Advisory Board Chair for FY2019
Motion to appoint Kara Clubb as Advisory Board Chair was made by Tammy Nakamura, Second by Crystal Shafer
Unanimous approval by remaining board members.
5. Discussion: Scholarship Application and Requirements for 2019
Discussion of scholarship eligibility with regard to community service hours required. A motion to change the start date
to obtain the required 50 hours of community service performed with Metroport Teen Court from June 1 to January 1
was made by Kara Clubb, Second by Marjorie Lewis. Unanimous approval by remaining board members.
6. Update: Dates to Remember
The upcoming important teen court dates were reviewed.
7. Public Forum
There was no public present at this time.
8. Meeting Adjourned at 6:16 p.m.
Motion by Marjorie Lewis, Second by Crystal Shafer.
Next meeting was scheduled for 5:45 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2019.
