Development Details The City of Southlake is requesting approval of a site plan to allow the addition of approximately 1,000 square feet of floor area to the existing 3,200 square foot Senior Center building for a total 4,200 square feet. The proposal also includes the addition of 19 parking spaces northwest of the existing building and parking area. Discussion Comments Address current traffic flow on Parkwood Drive into the Center Concerned about school traffic and safety of the children Would like to see driveway access from Parkwood Court Future access if City decides to use this property for multi purpose facility Consider a gate at the entrance that can be locked after business hours Consider right turns only out of Parkwood Court Why not connect the two parking lots? Concerned about late night loitering Investigate problems with Calloway's access and delivery trucks Consider changing the name of Parkwood Court to avoid confusion for delivery trucks Consider installing security cameras to catch violators Allow the community to get involved with investing in desired changes Install a stop sign at Senior Center driveway Get the Department of Public Safety involved in safety issues SPIN Meeting Reports are general observations of SPIN Meetings by City staff and SPIN Representatives.
