2008-04-14 Meeting Report (Carillon)APRIL SPIN MEETING SUMMARIES APRIL 14, 2008 6:00PM CARILLON Approximately sixty -five (65) individuals attended the citywide SPIN meeting regarding a zoning change and development plan for a 285 acre mixed -use development on the north side of 114 between White Chapel Carroll. The applicant is proposing an "ECZ Employment Center Zoning District. The current zoning is "NRPUD" Non residential Planned Unit Development District. The Development Plan and Zoning change (ZA08 -031) are currently under staff review. The earliest this case could come before the City Council is July 15, 2008. The main discussion points included: Density Traffic Need for another Town Square- type development Success of the project (especially of the Performing Arts Center) Additional students overcrowding schools Ecological and flooding concerns Quality of the development APRIL 28, 2008 6:30PM XARIS OFFICE PROJECT One (1) individual attended the citywide SPIN meeting regarding a site plan for Xaris Office Development. The plan proposes the development of one (1) professional office building of 30,000 square feet at 1050 E. State Highway 114. Ten thousand (10,000) square feet will be medical office use and the remaining space will be general office. The property is approximately 2.108 acres and the current zoning is "C -3" General Commercial District. The site plan application (ZA07 -167) is scheduled for the May 8, 2008 Planning Zoning Commission meeting. The main discussion points included: Access to the development Tenants APRIL 28, 2008 7:30PM BOSWORTH OFFICES No one attended the citywide SPIN meeting for a zoning change and site plan from "B -1" Business Service Park" District to "S -P -1" Detailed Site Plan District with "0-1" Office District uses. The plan proposes the development of four (4) general office buildings totaling 14,153 square feet on approximately 1.55 acres. The zoning change and site plan (ZA07 -137) was approved by P &Z April 17, 2008 and will go to City Council for first reading May 6, 2008. A revised plat application (ZA08 -001) to divide the property into four lots will go to P &Z May 8, 2008.
