Three (3) residents attended the SPIN 11 meeting
for a proposed residential development near the
northwest corner of W. Highland St and N. White
Chapel Blvd. The applicant proposes a zoning
change from "AG" to "SF -1A" Single Family
Residential District for the development of eight 1-
acre lots on 9.445 acres. The Future Land Use
Designation is Low Density Residential.
Sidewalks, entry features, entry landscaping, and a
masonry subdivision were presented at this
meeting.
QUESTIONS DISCUSSION
There was expressed concern for creating a too manicured neighborhood on a more
rural W. Highland St.; more particularly, sidewalks, masonry walls, curb gutter
streets, and large homes did not fit the character of that area.
