Summary of Questions and Comments
What is the size of the lots of the proposed development? (A: A little over a 1/3 acre)
What would the minimum square footage be of the homes you propose to build?
(A: Minimum of 3,400 square feet)
Do people want to buy this type of home in Southlake even though it is part of the
Northwest ISD?
Has Clariden Ranch had a problem selling out their remaining lots?
The proposed development just doesn't fit in with the existing homes /neighborhoods
that exist in that area.
What are you going to do about the equestrian center that is adjacent to the property?
I don't think that anyone here is questioning your credibility as builders, but it is
unrealistic to build this type of development in this area. You need to understand
what it is that is important to us in this area. 1/3 acre lots are not important to us.
What is the price that you would sell these houses for? (A: $565,000
I moved to Southlake, because at the time there was a firm commitment made by
P &Z to only accept 1 acre lots.
We need to stick to the land use plan.
It appears that there is an opportunity to make this development work if you would
pull the inside lots out, thus making the rest of the lot sizes bigger.
The reason people want to be in Southlake is because of the zoning and land use
plans.
