Administrative Comments. 2. Review, discuss and make recommendations on the Southlake 2035 Land Use Plan for the North, West, Southeast and Central Sectors. 3. Review, discuss and make recommendations on proposed revisions to the 7-Eleven in the Carroll Oaks center to revise the store footprint, construct a larger fuel station canopy, and add two additional fuel stations on an approximately 1.85 acres located at the southwest corner of E. SH 114 and N. Carroll Ave. and addressed as 1101 E. SH 114. 4. Review, discuss and make recommendations on two proposed professional office buildings located near the northwest intersection of E. SH 114 and N. Kimball Ave., one located at 2110 (2118) E. SH 114 and one at 420 N. Kimball Avenue, being Lot 7R1 and Lot 4a, respectively, Block 1, MESCO Addition, an addition to the City of Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas. 5. Adjournment. MEETING OVERVIEW: On March 1, 2018 the Southlake 2035 Corridor Planning Committee held their fifteenth meeting. The Committee was sent a packet of materials prior to the meeting that were to be discussed during the session. A meeting agenda was posted and the meeting time was advertised on the City’s website. The following meeting report focuses on discussion points made during the meeting by members of the Committee, public and City staff. SH 114 and N. Kimball Ave., one located at 2110 (2118) E. SH 114 and one at 420 N. Kimball Avenue, being Lot 7R1 and Lot 4a, respectively, Block 1, MESCO Addition, an addition to the City of Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas.  Staff presentation: Richard Schell o Property located off 114 and Kimball Ave. o Land use designation is Retail Commerical o Current zoning is S-P-2 o 2110 E. SH 114  4,500 SF Office Building - 27 parking spaces o 420 N. Kimball Ave.  4,056 SF Office Building - 29 parking spaces  One story office building o Buildings appear to have similar building materials and looks  Questions for staff by the Committee: Q: Sign on which side of HW for Jeff Medici? A: West side Q: What is the building located at 441 N Kimball Ave.? A: Allstate building has been approved to build there Q: Will both properties have straight office uses? A: Defer to applicant for that answer Q: Will the builder / contractor finish-up sidewalk paving off 114? A: The applicant will be required to extend sidewalk along 114 on their property Q: Was 441 approved without the need for a fence? A: 441 was zoned light residential; therefore, no fencing was required  Applicant presentation by: Daniel Franklin o We’ve hosted meetings with surrounding businesses and Kimball park owner o Proposed use / marketed as: professional office and medical office  We will hopefully have tenants lined up by the end of the permitting process  Questions for applicant by the Committee: Q: Are both buildings going to be used for professional office and medical office? A: Yes C: Can you speak to dumpster screenings? We want to make sure to minimize the view to the public and other buildings. You will not see the dumpsters from Kimball Park.
