1. Administrative Comments.
2. Review, discuss and make recommendations on the Southlake 2035 Land
Use Plan for the North, West, Southeast and Central Sectors.
3. Review, discuss and make recommendations on proposed revisions to the
7-Eleven in the Carroll Oaks center to revise the store footprint, construct
a larger fuel station canopy, and add two additional fuel stations on an
approximately 1.85 acres located at the southwest corner of E. SH 114
and N. Carroll Ave. and addressed as 1101 E. SH 114.
4. Review, discuss and make recommendations on two proposed
professional office buildings located near the northwest intersection of E.
SH 114 and N. Kimball Ave., one located at 2110 (2118) E. SH 114 and
one at 420 N. Kimball Avenue, being Lot 7R1 and Lot 4a, respectively,
Block 1, MESCO Addition, an addition to the City of Southlake, Tarrant
County, Texas.

MEETING
OVERVIEW:
On March 1, 2018 the Southlake 2035 Corridor Planning Committee held
their fifteenth meeting. The Committee was sent a packet of materials
prior to the meeting that were to be discussed during the session. A
meeting agenda was posted and the meeting time was advertised on the
City’s website. The following meeting report focuses on discussion points
made during the meeting by members of the Committee, public and City
staff. This report is neither verbatim nor does it represent official meeting
minutes; rather it serves to inform elected and appointed officials, City
staff, and the public of the issues and questions raised by the Committee,
City staff, and any attendees of the meeting. Interested parties are
strongly encouraged to follow development cases through the process.

1. ITEM #2 DISCUSSION – Review, discuss and make recommendations on the
Southlake 2035 Land Use Plan for the North, West, Southeast and Central
Sectors.
Ken Baker, Senior Director of Planning & Development Services, opened
discussion to the Committee
o Brumlow / Continental section
Recommending piece be changed to mix-use to increase
development potential
Include traffic study / analysis be done by any applicant wishing to
develop near area
Brumlow will be extended to 4 lanes
To provide traffic relief from South
o Requests that City Staff host an open house to discuss recommendations
and gain feedback
Include consolidated land use map
The Open House will be scheduled the same night as next Corridor
Planning / Land Use Plan Committee meeting
o Staff can create a Land Use Map to include all specific recommendations
made to the Committee
