I. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Rick Wilhelm called the.meeting to order and
established that a quorum was present.
Virginia Clow's birthday was recognized with greetings and a
cake from the SEDC members.
II. REVIEW & APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Betty Springer recommended the October minutes be corrected
to read "American Heritage Institute" instead of "American
Revolution" in reference to the proposed Colleyville research
library. Motion by Bethann Scratchard, seconded by Marvin Cook,
to approve minutes as corrected. Approved.,
III. TREASURERS REPORT
Marvin Cook did not have a treasurers report available,
however, Betty Springer reported the November lot account balance
was $7, 542. 79
IV. OLD BUSINESS
a. Economic Profiles Rick Wilhelm would like to set up a
meeting with Carol Thomas from UNT, Bud Weinstein, at al. Betty
indicated she would be installing a modem in the Chamber office
sometime after the first of the year and would be able to access
the North Texas Commission's information files with statistical
data on the North Texas area.
b. FM1709s Curtis Hawk, Gary Fickes, and Betty Springer have
met several times with the County Commissioners Court in an
attempt to keep this project from falling behind due to right-of-
way acquisition. Tom Vandergriff will be sworn in as County
Judge after the first of the year, and has indicated a
willingness to assist us in keeping this project moving forward.
There are still approximately 20 parcels of land to move thru the
condemnation process.

c. Demographics Surveys Betty will have the new survey ready
to mail out in January. By waiting until after the holidays, the
SEDC members felt we would get a better response.
d. Post Offices Phillip Bressinck reported there had been
some design problems with access into -the site, but it appeared
these had been resolved. If all goes as now planned,
construction should start sometime in. February or March and
should take about six months to complete.
V. NEW BUSINESS
New High Schools Rick Wilhelm displayed a rendering of the
new high school plans and discussed the site layout. He also-,
advised the members of plans for another new residential sub-
division adjacent to the high school site along FM1709 called
"Stone Lakes". '
Inventory of Lands Rick prepared folders using local maps
and tax tract information for all SEDC members to utilize in
contacting land owners in the city in order to develop an
inventory of available tracts and/or.buildings. SEDC members are
to make the contacts and report back at the January meeting.
Evaluation Forms/Executive Directors Rick distributed
evaluation forms to SEDC members for the annual evaluation of the
Director and asked that the forms be returned to him as soon as
possible.
VI. SETTING OF NEXT MEETING & ADJOURNMENT
There will not be a December meeting. The next meeting will
be January E3, 19919 at 9130 am at City Hall. Meeting adjourned
approximately 10100 am.
