Present: Sally Hall, President; Frank Dorer, Vice President; Dick Johnston, Marvin Cook,
Lisa Stokdyk, Michelle Mellen, Scott Martin, Karen Reynolds, Phyllis Catton, Carol Lee
Hamilton, and Kevin Hugman.
Agenda Items Discussed
1. Call To Order
The meeting was called to order at 6:40 p.m. by Frank Dorer.
2. Minutes
Minutes from the December 5 KSB meeting were presented and a motion was made by
Lisa Stokdyk to approve the minutes with no amendments. Motion was seconded by
Karen Reynolds.
3. Minutes from the October 25 KSB meeting were presented with the changes incorporated
that were recommended at the last meeting. A motion was made by Dick Johnston and
seconded by Phyllis Catton to approve.
4. Administrative Comments
Kevin Hugman reported that the KSB "Beautiful Business of The Quarter" sign does not
meet the sign ordinance. The possibility of a variance was discussed. Kevin will
research further.
5. Treasurer's Report
There was no Treasurer's Report presented.
6. KSB Support for Recyclying Bin Covers
Dick Johnston presented information about the recycling bin covers to the committee and
discussed making a recommendation to Council to purchase recycling bin covers for the
community. The cost would be under $3.00 per cap. A motion was made by Dick
Johnston and Lisa Stokdyk to recommend the purchase to City Council at their next
meeting; all committee members were in favor.
The committee discussed the TRASH -OFF DAYS scheduled for 1995. The first Day
will be held on Saturday, January 14, 1995 (rain day - January 21). This is the first of
four city-wide TRASH -OFF DAYS. Everyone was encouraged to participate and to
spread the word to any groups or individuals. Trash bags will be provided and pick up
of bags will be done by City crews.
The possibility of having a trailer available for old tires was also discussed.
7. Committee Reports
• Litter Control - TRASH -OFF days were discussed.
• Beautification - Status of Wildscape Project at Bicentennial Park was discussed.
Sally noted that Texas Parks & Wildlife sent her a card stating that grant funds
needed to be used by February 15. This date was not in the original agreement.
Kevin said he would talk to Ray Whitney at TP&W to find out the reason for the
deadline.

A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 7:33 p.m.
